Vets now take over from us when we close at 7:00pm and at the weekend from 2:00pm on Saturday onwards.

Out of hours
Vets Now is the pet equivalent of an accident and emergency service, dedicated to providing pets with access to a vet out of hours. It’s all they do. 
Based just off the Kingsway in Dundee beside the big B&Qat Parkside veterinary group, 5 Kings Cross, Road Dundee. Their vets and vet nurses are specially trained to deal with pet emergencies. Because they don’t work during the day, they’ll be up and ready to see your pet at the time you need them.
Vets Now has been providing dedicated out-of-hours emergency pet care across the UK for more than 15 years, and now responds to almost half-a-million pet emergencies every year.

Overnight Care for Hospitalised Patients at Tower
In some cases, we may advise a patient is kept at Tower Veterinary Centre over night. There are no staff on site out of hours. The vet will check your pet when they leave around 7-7.30pm and the vet will decide on further checks that are required. These checks would be carried out by a member of our staff under the direction of the vet. The patient will be checked in the morning around 8am.
If we feel a more intensive approach to overnight care is required or if you feel more secure knowing your pet is under close supervision, we can make provision for you to take your pet through to our partners Vets Now in Dundee. There your pet will be under the care of an on-site vet nurse and vet. The owners would arrange the transport. Vets now can supply an estimate for costs of overnight hospitalisation and treatment on request.
